Overview

I started my fitness journey in 2013. Most of my life I had been overweight. When the motivation of not only looking like a bride, but wanting to feel beautiful as one struck in 2013, I decided it was time for change. I wasn’t happy with the way I looked or felt so I did something about it. I started eating healthier and exercising. By September 2013, I had lost a little over 100lbs and ran my first 5k. 


I had always wanted to try boxing/kickboxing, but never felt like I was “physically fit” enough to do so. Finally, I got the courage and I started looking for a new gym. Not long after, I was introduced to Kicked Up Fitness. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was signing up and becoming a client. It’s more like a family here than just trainers and clients. The last year and a half, I’ve been working hard to try and tone up and gain muscle. 


Through Kicked Up Fitness classes I have seen tremendous growth in my strength, endurance, and gaining of muscle as well as confidence! The many inches I’ve lost have also been a motivator along the way. I took training more seriously and worked hard to learn the proper techniques of boxing/kickboxing and fell in love with it, not only as a workout but as a sport as well. I hope to continue to learn and develop everything boxing/kickboxing has to offer. I look forward to working with clients who want to learn more about boxing technique and pass on the positive influence that health, fitness, and boxing have had on my own life. I believe that it’s never too late to start a fitness regimen no matter one’s personal fitness level. I hope to empower others to reach their very own fitness goals and guide them towards a healthier and happier lifestyle.
